I’m inspired by many things in life that are touched by the Almighty. One such thing is music. Not all music. Just music inspired by God. And when I’m inspired by Him, He inspires me to write. I’d like to share some of these song with you in my “Songs that Inspire” series. Don’t you just love the word “inspire”?
The following is an amazing song by Matthew West. And as usual it was inspired by a true testimony. I want to share this song with you. First I’m sharing the story behind the song…
…and now the song itself.
I pray that this song strengthens those who are looking for comfort in a world empty to them.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

It’s not that I enjoy crying, but this is such an amazing Christmas song and story, and I wanted to share it with anyone who hasn’t heard or seen it yet. Besides, Matthew West is a great Christian artist and definitely worthy of promoting!
I hope you enjoy it.
Matthew West makes every song count. Each has a story behind it that’s inspiring and filled with faith!
“Last Christmas” is a sad story. It’s not a new story, but it’s one about how a community came together to make a dream come true. It’s a story about compassion and love. And it’s a story about faith. Something that’s so needed in such a desperate time.

This is from 2011, but so worthy of watching again and again! Besides, I needed to hear it. I hope you enjoy.
Watch for tears and standing ovation.
I don’t want to have a discussion about the accusations against Michael Jackson. I have my own ideas about a man who never had the chance to be a boy. It’s a sad story.
This post is for MJ fans who believe in protecting innocent life.
Following is a previously unreleased song on the newly released BAD 25 album -the 25th anniversary edition of Jackson’s album Bad. It’s called “Song Groove (The Abortion Papers).”
Following are some of the lyrics:
Those abortion papers
Signed in your name against the words of God
Those abortion papers
Think about life, I’d like to have my child
I also wanted to mention this song because I do have a pro-life novel coming up in the future. You’ll see the connection to this song when it’s out. Until then, enjoy the song.
I have to do it in a way so I don’t offend girls who have gotten abortions or bring back guilt trips so it has to be done carefully…I have to really think about it. (Jackson reportedly wrote)
